Williamsville High School is excited to be hosting the first-round playoff game for the 2021 IHSA Football Playoffs against Beardstown High School. The game will take place on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Paul Jenkins Field in Williamsville. Admission to the game is $5.00. All seating within the stadium is general admission and will be available on a first come first serve basis when gates open at 1:00 pm on Saturday. Any and all materials placed on the bleachers prior to the opening of the gates on game day will be removed and confiscated. Please reference the map below for parking and gate locations due to the current construction taking place at Williamsville High School.

Dogs and other pets are also not allowed at Paul Jenkins Field or on the campus of Williamsville High School during home varsity football games. If you bring an animal with you to the game, you will be asked to leave the facility.

If you can’t make it to the game, you will be able to watch it live on Bullets TV on the NFHS Network. If you don’t already have a subscription, you will be able to purchase one by going to www.whsbulletstv.com so you won’t miss a moment of the action during the 2021 playoffs!

I would like to invite you to attend the WMS time capsule opening Saturday Sept 11 starting at 11:45am located at the Williamsville main st square.

In order to fix the issues that TeacherEase presented us with in regards to athletic registration, we decided to create a Google Form to track all of the mandatory paperwork and forms. This new process will start with junior high girls basketball and will continue for all sports for the remainder of the school year; if your child is already participating in a Fall sport, you do not have complete this process.

We are trying to make this process as easy as possible for players, parents, coaches, as well as office staff. As a reminder, in addition to completing this registration process, all athletes must also have an updated physical, athletic fee paid, and watched the mandatory parent-athlete video in order to participate as well.

WJHS & WHS Traffic Flow: Due to construction, we are asking all community members, parents, and students to use the Williamsville overpass road to enter and exit WJHS & WHS. Our school buses will have priority for student drop-offs and pick-ups in front of WJHS & WHS circle drives. There will be no student morning drop offs or after school student pick up for parents in the WJHS or WHS circle drive. The WJHS & WHS principals will be communicating specific traffic flow plans to parents and students.

We are exited about another school year. Thank you for being partners in your child's education and extracurricular activities.

Time to Celebrate & Best Wishes Class of 2021

May 3-7 was Teacher Appreciation Week. May 6 was Nurse Appreciation Day, and May 7 was Cafeteria Cooks appreciation day. On behalf of the WCUSD#15 Board of Education, I would like to personally thank all the WCUSD#15 staff for what they do every day for our students. The WCUSD#15 staff is the most important variables in the district, and our staff unselfishly meet this challenge daily.

As challenging as it was, it is time to celebrate the academic success of another great school year at WCUSD#15. We have great schools with many opportunities for students. We have successfully navigated the challenges of COVID-19. Our teachers and staff do a wonderful job instructing, caring, and challenging our students.

IT'S A GREAT DAY TO BE A BULLET AND A BEE BEE!

APRIL SHOWERS BRING MAY FLOWERS & END OF THE YEAR SCHOOL INFORMATION

April and May are the months when the county clerk & township assessors finalize the taxing body’s levy extensions, mail out the property tax bills to the local tax payers, and send the final levy tax extension reports to school districts. Springtime is when the county clerk finalizes each taxing body’s tax rates. From these tax rate calculations, there are several tax extension/rate variables that are out of the school district’s and other taxing body’s control. Taxing bodies have no control over final township property assessments, property re-evaluation, township multipliers, Consumer Price Index (CPI), property tax appeals, and property tax exemptions. Increases or decreases in all of these uncontrollable variables affect a taxing body’s final tax rate which affects each individual property tax payer.
