The Williamsville High School Athletic Department will be hosting its mandatory parent/athlete night for all students who will be or are interested in participating in a sport for the upcoming spring season. This includes boys’ track, girls’ track, girls’ soccer, baseball, and softball. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, starting at 6:00 pm in main gym at Williamsville High School. After the main session is finished in the gym, each sport will separate and conduct sport specific meetings. Important information for both open gyms, as well as when tryouts and practices will take place will be covered at this time. It is highly recommended that you bring your health insurance card with you, as mandatory insurance waivers and IHSA paperwork will also be completed at this meeting. As a reminder, student-athletes will need updated physicals in order to participate in their desired sport. Head coaches for each individual sport will also be collecting updated physicals if you have them. If you have any additional questions, you can either contact the head coach of each sport or Athletic Director Adam Eucker.
The Williamsville CUSD 15 Athletic Department is proud to announce that four teams and activities from the 2017-2018 Spring season have been awarded the IHSA Team Academic Achievement Award. This brings the total for the 17-18 school year to sixteen teams and activities who have earned this award and an overall athletic department GPA average of 3.64.
In order to be eligible for this award, a team must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and have a minimum number of students participate on that particular team or activity, as set forth by the IHSA. All sixteen teams at Williamsville High School that were eligible during the school year for this award, achieved this mark of academic success. The bar has always been set high at Williamsville High School in terms of success for both academics and athletics. We are proud that this group of student athletes has carried on this tradition of excellence.

Seven WHS musicians were selected for ILMEA All-State Ensembles this year. This is the highest honor a student-musician can receive in our state. It is only through years of hard work and dedication to musicianship that this highest level of achievement is possible. It is a credit to the students and all of those that support them that they have progressed to this point. They will all participate in a 3-day state festival in late January and perform in ensembles with the best student musicians from around the state. Please help us in offering them congratulations!
